Two connected disciplines.
Experience across sectors.

Capacity building makes the promise deliverable. Storyselling helps people understand its value and act. These examples show how I connect both, drawing on organizational leadership and businesses I have helped build.

01 / Capacity Building / Churchome

Build the operation
behind the care.

Pastor Chat needed more than a chat tool. People reaching out needed a prepared person, a consistent response, and a clear path when a conversation required additional support.

My role

I was hired to lead a newly created role. I designed and built Pastor Chat’s digital care infrastructure from scratch, using Crisp chat technology as the platform.

What I built

Workflows, multilingual access, conversation guides, training resources, quality practices, and escalation pathways for staff and volunteers.

Scale of the operation

90+ staff members and 30+ volunteers equipped to support 85,000+ practical and spiritual care conversations.

Why it matters: a service model connecting technology, staffing, training, and quality. This is the operating discipline I bring to organizations developing a more consistent experience.

02 / Advancement & Donor Journey / Churchome

Connect the mission
to a donor experience.

The Vision Summit brought committed supporters closer to the mission and the leaders carrying it. The work connected a meaningful narrative with the coordination needed to deliver a complete retreat experience.

My role

An external consultant designed the original retreat framework. I led end-to-end execution of subsequent Vision Summits.

What I carried

The donor journey, retreat experience, cross-functional coordination, and follow-through that connected the case for support to participation.

Collective result

$5.1M raised across two retreats. This is the collective fundraising result of the retreats I led, with organizational leaders and teams.

Why it matters: a coordinated experience that connected mission, relationships, and an invitation to invest.

03 / Capacity Building + Storyselling / Business Ownership

Make the offer clear.
Build the business behind it.

Co-founding Love + Leisure means living the same decisions clients bring to me: what we offer, how we explain its value, and how we deliver an experience people can trust.

My role

Co-founder of a boutique travel agency focused on destination weddings, group travel, and retreats.

What I built

AI-enabled itinerary workflows, client communication sequences, and custom booking websites for weddings and group retreats.

What the work demonstrates

Offer clarity, client journey design, and operating systems implemented in a business I help run.

Why it matters: a clear service promise connected to the communication and workflows that support delivery.

Translate strategy
across different markets.

Over fourteen years, I progressed from territory sales leadership in Florida and Texas to regional leadership in Washington, leading a team of seven. Each market required understanding local relationships, communicating value, and adapting execution.

That experience informs my consulting today: clarify what matters to the audience, give people the tools to deliver, and connect the strategic decision to daily action.

05 / Change Management & Financial Stewardship / Churchome

Fewer people.
Mission still moving.

Across five years in leadership at Churchome, I saw that capable teams lose momentum when ownership, strengths, and decision rights drift apart. That mattered most through consecutive reductions in force, which I supported in 2023 and led from 2024 to 2026, while managing team and organization-wide budgets under financial pressure.

My role

Supported consecutive reductions in force in 2023, then led them from 2024 to 2026, with responsibility for team and organization-wide budgets.

What I did

Used a strength-based framework to identify each person’s highest-value contribution, realigned roles around those strengths, clarified accountability and decision rights, and supported a healthy team through the change.

What kept moving

Pastor Chat, through volunteer expansion and a mapped plan for staff engagement. The Vision Summit and donor engagement. Gatherings. Pastoral care, outreach, and financial assistance requests, especially through tough economic challenges.

Why it matters: capacity building includes aligning priorities, budgets, and responsibilities when an organization has to operate with fewer resources, without letting the mission stall.

Connect the data,
the workflow, and the journey.

My experience spans CRM and Salesforce, data migration, workflow implementation, and advancement and donor journey work. These capabilities connect the information an organization holds with the work its teams carry forward.
